Blog Module
The built-in Blog module gives you everything you need to create, manage, and grow a professional blog - right out of the box. Write and publish articles using the same easy page editor used across your website, complete with images, multimedia, scheduling, categories, authors, and social sharing.
Manage all posts from a central dashboard with quick stats, search and filters, and one-click actions to add, import, or export articles. Organise content with Blog Groups and Categories, apply custom layouts per group, and configure blog appearance, comments, sharing, and subscriber options.
Track performance with detailed blog and Instant Article statistics, moderate comments, manage subscribers, customise RSS feeds, auto-post to Facebook, monetise your feed with advertising, and easily import blogs from Blogger, WordPress, or Tumblr.
In short: a powerful, flexible blogging system designed to scale with your website.
GDPR Module
The GDPR module helps you prepare your website and business for compliance with the EU's General Data Protection Regulation. From a central dashboard, you can manage GDPR settings, access all policy editors, set data retention limits, add your Data Protection Officer's contact details, and send re-consent emails to your subscribers.
Easily generate essential legal policies: including Cookie, Privacy, and Terms & Conditions - using built-in third-party generators (with the option to have them reviewed by a legal professional). Quickly locate and review user data by searching email addresses, and manage data access requests from one place, with the ability to fulfil and send requested data in just a few clicks.
A simple, practical toolkit to help keep your website transparent, compliant, and user-friendly.
Membership Module
The Membership module gives you full control over your website's user community. Manage all members from a central list where you can search users, email members, import or export data, approve new sign-ups, and block or ban accounts when needed. You can also control how membership features appear on your site, including registration links, member directories, and online member lists.
Create and manage Member Groups to organise users, set default groups at signup, and assign moderator permissions for comments and profiles. Add members individually or in bulk via CSV, receive notifications for new registrations, and enforce Terms & Conditions during signup.
Built-in moderation tools let you review abuse reports, manage profile messages with swear-word filtering, handle flagged content, and ban users by IP, email, or screen name. With clear oversight, flexible controls, and strong moderation features, the Membership module helps you build a safe, well-managed online community.
Social Module
The Social module lets you manage and showcase your social media presence across your website with ease. Customise the look and feel of your social icons by choosing the icon type, style, size, colours, backgrounds, and hover effects, with a live preview before saving.
Connect your social media accounts by simply selecting the platforms you use and adding your usernames or URLs. Control which sharing options are available to visitors, and extend functionality further by adding custom embed codes for platforms not built into the system.
The module also includes RSS feed management, allowing you to add, edit, and manage external feeds alongside system-generated feeds. Together, these tools make it simple to integrate social channels and content feeds into a cohesive, on-brand website experience.
SEO Module
The SEO Settings module brings key search optimization controls together in one easy-to-manage dashboard. While page-level SEO is handled directly within the Page Editor—and products and blogs include their own built-in SEO tools—the dashboard provides a central place to manage global SEO-related settings.
Social meta tags for platforms like Facebook and Twitter are automatically generated using your page, blog, or product titles and images. You can customize the social share image directly in the Page Editor's SEO tab, while blogs and products automatically use their assigned main image.
Stats Module
The Stats module gives you clear, actionable insight into how visitors are using your website. View data in both detailed list form and easy-to-read graphs, with the option to exclude your own IP address for more accurate reporting. Powerful filters let you focus on specific pages, time periods, or traffic sources, and all data can be printed or exported to CSV for use in other tools.
The List View shows granular visit details such as pages viewed, browsers, devices, locations, referrers, and timestamps, while the Graph View highlights trends including visitor activity over time, top pages, referrers, device types, and geographic breakdowns.
You can also extend tracking to other websites by embedding the Arcus AI tracking code, keeping all analytics in one place. Built-in Stats Rules allow you to block or ban unwanted traffic by IP address, with reasons recorded so your admin team always knows why an action was taken.
Advanced SEO Tools
Website Redirects: Easily manage permanent or temporary redirects to guide visitors and search engines to the correct pages. Redirect entire websites or individual URLs to new locations or domains—ideal for domain changes, updated page structures, or preserving SEO value after site updates.
Robots.txt Editor: Take control of how search engines crawl your website by customising your robots.txt file. This editor allows you to define which areas of your site should or shouldn't be indexed, helping you fine-tune search visibility and protect sensitive sections.
.htaccess Builder: The .htaccess Builder is an advanced tool for users who want deeper control over website behaviour and security. Build a custom .htaccess file to force HTTPS or www usage, enable security headers, protect against hotlinking, password-protect your site, manage redirects, create clean URLs, and add custom rules—all from a guided interface.
Analytics & Tracking Scripts: Manage all your analytics and tracking scripts from one central location—no need to add code to individual pages. Easily configure Google services such as Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console verification, and submit XML sitemaps for your main site, blogs, podcasts, or sitemap index. You can also add Facebook tracking and verification, Pinterest verification, and any custom third-party tracking scripts, all clearly organised and easy to update.
Image Optimization
The Image Optimisation module helps your website load faster and perform better in search results by reducing image file sizes without sacrificing quality. Choose between modern WebP conversion—producing images up to 25–34% smaller than traditional JPGs and PNGs—or smart compression via TinyPNG, which automatically applies optimal lossy compression to every uploaded image.
WebP creates smaller, high-quality images for faster pages, while TinyPNG seamlessly compresses PNG and JPG files across the system (with API key setup). You can also enable Lazy Load to delay image loading until they appear on screen, improving initial page load times and overall performance.
Together, these tools ensure your images are lightweight, fast, and SEO-friendly—automatically.
Social Connections
The Social Connections module lets you integrate powerful third-party platforms to extend your reach, automate content sharing, and boost engagement. Connect tools like SocialBee, Zapier, and Facebook to streamline how your content is distributed and promoted across channels.
With SocialBee, you can automatically publish content to major social networks, organise posts by category, and keep feeds active by linking your Arcus AI RSS feeds. Zapier enables advanced automation, allowing you to push new blogs or products to other services, trigger notifications, or deliver updates to subscribers without manual effort.
You can also connect Facebook Instant Articles to publish fast-loading, mobile-optimised blog content directly on Facebook. This improves load times, reduces bounce rates, increases engagement, and lets readers subscribe to your updates via Messenger—all from within a guided setup.
Newsletter Module
The Communicate module is your built-in newsletter and messaging tool, allowing you to create and send emails directly from your website. Design newsletters using the familiar page editor, then send them to selected groups such as website subscribers, blog followers, eCommerce customers, staff, or members—all in just a few clicks.
Messages can be sent immediately or saved as drafts so you can refine them before publishing. Every sent newsletter is automatically stored in the Sent Messages section for easy reference and tracking.
The Newsletter Subscribers area gives you full visibility and control over your audience. View subscriber lists, see what they've signed up for, unsubscribe users when needed, and import or export subscriber data for use with third-party marketing tools.
Theme Designer
The Theme Designer gives you complete control over your website's look and feel, from simple brand updates to advanced, fine-grained customisation.
The Basic Theme Editor lets you quickly apply your brand by setting logos, favicons, colours, website width, and fonts for body text, headings, navigation, and footers.
The Advanced Theme Editor provides deeper control across appearance, layout, menus, typography, and extras. Customise site backgrounds, headers, content areas, and footers with colours, images, transparency, sizing, and positioning. Fully design your navigation menu, including layout type, alignment, animations, borders, spacing, responsive/mobile behaviour, and burger menus. Define detailed font styles for body text, links, headings (H1–H6), and footers, as well as text selection and hover states.
Additional options include accessibility tools, Google Translate, search styling, button and input themes, and custom headers and footers created with the page editor. Themes can be saved, duplicated, or created as new variations at any stage.
For power users, the Modify Themes section allows direct editing of theme templates and stylesheets for desktop and mobile, including HTML, CSS, menus, fonts, blog skins, and shop skins. Themes and individual design components can be updated, combined, or removed, giving you full modular control over your site's design.
Colour Scheme Editor
The Colour Scheme Editor makes it easy to apply consistent brand colours across your website. Use the built-in colour picker to define primary and secondary colours for headers, menus, links, hover states, body text, and footers.
Once your colour scheme is created and named, it can be saved and reused throughout your website, ensuring a cohesive, on-brand design with minimal effort.
Themes & Module Skinning
Themes: The Themes section lets you browse and install available website themes without affecting your current design. Installing a theme does not overwrite existing styles or change your active theme—it simply adds the theme as an option within the Theme Designer.
You can activate a new theme at any time through the Theme Editor, or even apply different themes on a per-page basis using the Page Editor. Previously installed themes can also be reinstalled to create a fresh version while keeping earlier versions intact.
Themes range from clean, basic layouts for building your structure to specialist, industry-designed themes—such as eCommerce, food, or hair and beauty—helping you get up and running faster.
Module Skinning: Module Skinning lets you quickly refresh the appearance of your Blog or Shop without changing your overall site theme. Upload custom skin files to apply new styles, layouts, and visual treatments to individual modules.
Skins are uploaded as standard ZIP files and can include CSS, images, subfolders, and a thumbnail preview. Each skin is installed into its own directory and can be reused or swapped as needed. To avoid overwriting existing skins, simply rename the skin folder before uploading.
This provides a flexible, modular way to customise the look of your blog or shop independently from the rest of your website.
Responsive Site Tester
The Responsive Site Tester lets you preview your website across a range of device sizes while you build and edit it. This helps ensure your site looks and functions well on desktop, tablet, and mobile screens, giving you confidence in your responsive design before going live.
Advanced Developer Tools
Advanced Code Editor: The Advanced Code Editor is designed for experienced users and developers who need full control over their website. It allows you to directly create and edit site code, making it ideal for custom functionality, fine-tuned layouts, and advanced customisation beyond standard editors.
Custom Template Tags: Custom Template Tags are an advanced feature for creating reusable code snippets within your templates and pages. Define your own tags using the editor and insert them into HTML templates or the Page Editor, allowing greater flexibility and cleaner, more efficient template design.
eCommerce / Shop Module
The Shop module is a complete eCommerce system designed to manage products, orders, stock, payments, and fulfilment from one central place.
The Shop Dashboard gives you an instant overview of performance, including products, stock levels, orders, income (daily, weekly, monthly), cancellations, best sellers, special offers, and recently added items.
Order Management lets you view, search, filter, and manage all orders with detailed analytics, invoices, CSV exports, and printing. You can update order statuses, track payments, handle recurring orders, and review customer and shipping details. Built-in reports provide insights into sales, profit, shipping, customers, and product performance over time.
Stock Channels allow you to manage inventory across multiple locations, such as online stores and physical shops, with priority-based stock allocation and low-stock controls.
Product Management supports physical products, digital downloads, and donations. You can create products with variants, addons, recurring payments, special offers, SEO settings, images, categories, related products, and seller profiles. Bulk actions make it easy to update visibility, VAT status, stock display, product types, and categories.
Product Groups & Filters help customers find items faster by grouping products with custom attributes (e.g. books by author, format, genre). You can also manage shop images, categories, product order, addons, and digital downloads.
Shop Settings provide deep customisation across:
- General business and invoice details
- Product rules, stock alerts, gift wrapping, and image zoom
- Cart behaviour and checkout restrictions
- Shop, category, and product display layouts
- Postage and shipping rules (rates, locations, weight-based pricing, click & collect)
- VAT, promo codes, Gift Aid, and legal T&Cs
- Custom order confirmation and error messages
Payments & Gateways support multiple providers (e.g. PayPal, Stripe and even a cash option), with full control over accepted methods and gateway-specific configuration.
Together, the Shop module gives you everything needed to run, customise, and scale a professional online store—from product creation to checkout, reporting, and fulfilment.
